The Development
Three pairs of high-rise residential blocks, the Pembrokes, the Brecons and the Denbighs, look out over Leeds from the suburb of Gipton.
Built in the 1950s, these council-run blocks provide social and sheltered housing for hundreds of people. The blocks are set in their own grounds, with plenty of car parking and greenery. Each has 47 flats spread over 11 storeys, and has communal rooms and facilities on the ground floor.
